• Some of the most important things to consider when you are choosing your Nelson venue are the practicalities of parking and transport. At Beachside, we have plenty of on-site parking. We’re also just a five-minute drive from Nelson Airport and ten minutes by car from the city centre. If you’re planning an event that will span a couple of days, it’s worth noting that we also have plenty of motel accommodation right on our doorstep.

Size matters: 😉

• Follow the Goldilocks rule and get things just right… If your Nelson venue is too small, your guests or delegates will feel overcrowded and uncomfortable. If it’s too big, your event will feel under-attended. At Beachside Nelson, with seven different function rooms to choose from, we can accommodate ten to three hundred people.

• Food and drink is an integral part of any event. Since time immemorial feasting has been an important part of any celebratory occasion. And, if you’re organising a corporate event, your delegates will almost always need brain food! We feel very fortunate that we have a hospitality expert, Carol Shirley at our helm.
