No matter what size your event is, we offer a full catering service. We have a selection of price per head menus for you to choose from, including our famous Grazing Tables. Alternatively, we can offer a bespoke menu planning service.
Our founder, Carol Shirley, has been at the forefront of the Nelson hospitality business for many years, food is her passion, and she knows the importance it plays in making your event a success.
We stock a wide selection of local and national wines and beers, so you can select beverages to suit your budget.

Beachside Nelson is also the home of Gourmet Catering. In conjunction with the Gourmet Catering team, we are also able offer off-site catering for conferences held at other Nelson venues.
Beachside provided catering for the New Zealand Planning Institute 2021 Annual Conference in Nelson. We had close to 600 delegates in attendance for the 3 day event. Carol and her team did an incredible job delivering a sensational array of canapés and meals over the course of the conference. The level of quality, diversity and presentation was outstanding, particularly considering the size of our group. The food was delicious and exceeded expectations – we have had so much positive feedback from delegates echoing our own personal reviews. Carol’s adaptability and consistent support was greatly appreciated – she went above and beyond, nothing was impossible.
